We are pleased to invite you to the first edition of our festival 
 dedicated to gypsy jazz "Samois sur Suisse".

For the record, the to
 wn of Samois sur Seine (near Fontainebleau) hosted the Django Reinhard
 t international jazz festival from 1983 to 2015. A real crossroads and
  meeting place for all lovers of gypsy swing, the festival is also the
  occasion for many wild jam sessions, whether on the luthiers' sta
 nds or in the campsites until early morning...

It is this atmospher
 e that the Auberge des Vergers team will try to recreate and for this 
 we have concocted a rich programme of concerts and masterclasses.

A protean group founded on the shores of Lake Geneva in the sprin
 g of 2018, The Echoes of Django proposes different artistic projects b
 ased on the music of the famous guitarist Django Reinhardt. Each of th
 e proposed formations is dedicated in an original way to a more or les
 s defined period in the musician's life, while adding its own comp
 ositions and its vision of improvisation. Each musician invited to joi
 n the basic trio brings his own universe and energy to create a homoge
 neous ensemble with a unique and constantly evolving sound.
