Ali Lagrouni is an experie
 nced artist based in Switzerland who began exhibiting his paintings in
  the 1970s nationally in France, the United Kingdom, Italy and the Net
 herlands. He credits a visit to the famous Louvre as one of the main i
 nspirations for becoming an artist. Lagrouni's distinctive and vib
 rant figurative and abstract compositions are created with oils, acryl
 ics, gouache and watercolors in a variety of media.

For her exhibit
 ion at the Auberge des Vergers the artist has chosen to present a life
 time of work through different periods of her artistic evolution.
